About me
I am a 22-years old student who stumbled upon investing path at 18. In the beginning I thought it was easy till my first mistake was made. Then I heard about people discussing investments on twitter and decided to join in. Soon after I found people focusing solely on micro-caps and I was immediately intriguted by the idea of investing into undiscovered companies, because all the people in my country were investing in the same popular stocks. I knew to generate different returns, you must do different things. And that is what I was learning since.
How do I invest?
I go through the same stocks all the time looking for attractive upside with limited downside usually. This can vary a bit based on expected value of individual securities. I believe in reasonable risk taking and expanding my circle of competence. I believe my main strenght is to acknolwedge places where I simply dont know or lack knowledge and behave accordingly in position sizing. Most of my investment come from nano-cap space globally. I am attracted to less covered markets, where I still can find fast growing companies at very interesting multiples. I am looking for one foot hurdles, where you do not have to create difficult financial models to tell the stock is cheap for some reason. I am not a believer in “reversion to the mean” stuff. I assume "today is normal”. My process is to go through A-Z of all companies on each exchange again and again to generate my own ideas, usually not covered by the masses. This requires to eliminate lots of ideas very fast but I always end up with a good number in each country which I try to follow and evaluate each time I look at them. All this underlines one thing I try to do - eliminate stupidity. I believe also in cutting the losers fast and for that reason, I havent endured more than 40% loss on the investments I have made since inception. That is something I am proud more about than seeing my winners.
